BOINC SIMAP is a project of the Technical University Munich. SIMAP is a database of protein similarities and protein domains which would computed with distributed computing.
 
SIMAP supports the standard platforms (Windows, Linux x86 and x86_64, MacOS PPC and Intel) and a lot of Unixes (AIX 5+6(PowerPC+Power), FreeBSD(i386), HP-UX(PARISC and IA64), Linux(Alpha, IA64, HP PARISC, SPARC), NetBSD (i386), OpenBSD (i386), Solaris (SPARC and x86) and TRU64) for manual installation .
